The Process

At The Designers Hub, we’re committed to elevating the interior design industry. That’s why we’ve developed a rigorous 6-phase proprietary process to vet professionals. This in-depth evaluation ensures that only the most qualified and dedicated professionals make it into our network.

Our process examines candidates across a range of critical factors, including:

  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: We evaluate their ability to effectively communicate with clients and work collaboratively with other professionals.

The process starts with you (the pro) creating an application of interest to the designers hub. Information submitted will only be used to determine if you would be a good fit for the platform on a basic level.  Start your application here.

Once your application is submitted, our team will review it internally to figure out if you are a good fit for the designers hub. We look at various components as well as checks outside of the application to verify information, or be able to make a decision. If selected to move to phase 3, we will let you know.

This initial application can take a few days to process, however, it’s important to know that if you are selected to move forward to phase 3 that we will reach out via email to do so.

Phase 3 is a interview with Timothy or Ronniesha, or both! We will ask a series of questions that will piggyback from the application, but also maybe questions that popped up during our initial review process. Pending the answers to our questions we will decide to either move you to the next phase or not.

For creative categories if you pass to this phase, this will be a complete board review of your portfolio and work. You will be graded by a matrix and is a pass/fail. If you fail this portion you will be given an opportunity to re-apply in either 1 year or 6 months depending on the grade received from the board. You will also be notified as to why the decision was made and how you can improve your portfolio for the next time you apply.

If you are a non-creative category such as bookkeeping or PR, we will do a different type of review and not through the board. This review goes through various checkpoints internally for us to be able to gage your quality of work and professionalism. The details of this review are proprietary and wont be disclosed.

Congratulations if you have gotten to this stage! This final stage goes over the agreement for listing on The Designers Hub, as well as the investment submission which is discussed on your first interview. Once both of these are submitted, we will put your listing in the queue to be created by our team. During that communication you can tell us what you want on your listing, formatting, images, etc… Then, your listing is approved and live.
